Highlands Hotel in Genting Highlands has the
most number of rooms. The 888-room hotel began
operations in 1994 and was fully completed by December
1996. The rooms include 849 deluxe rooms, 23 parlour
suites, 11 VIP/Duplex rooms, three penthouse units and
two VVIP suites. A total of 230 connecting rooms are
also available.
Longest Cable Car System
Genting Skyway is the longest cable car system
in Malaysia and also in South East Asia. Spanning
3.38km from the Goh Tong Jaya, it is the first cable
car system with a detachable eight-passenger gondola
which utilizes state-of-the-art technology and double
circuits.
Fastest Mono Cable Car System
The Genting Skyway is the world's fastest mono
cable car system travelling at a maximum speed of 6
metres per second or 21.6km per hour.

The ISO 9002-certified Kuala Lumpur Power
Station is the first independent power plant in
Malaysia to be awarded the Malaysian Society of
Occupational Safety & Health (MSOSH) Gold Award in
1997 and the Grand Award a year later. This 720 MW
Combined Cycle Power Station, built on turnkey basis
by ABB, is owned by
Genting Sanyen Power Sdn Bhd and operated and
maintained by the Operations & Maintenance Division of
ABB Power Generation Sdn Bhd. It began full commercial
operations in January 1996 and has since maintained
high levels of plant availability whilst maintaining
safety and efficiency.

The biggest Coke can replica in Malaysia stands
eight storeys or 26.6 metres high with a width of 7
metres. It is located in Genting Highlands Resort and
overlooks the resort's Theme park. It is made of steel
with an aluminium plate cladding and is coated by
