Genting Berhad wins a KLSE Corporate Award

Genting Berhad was among the recipients of KLSE Corporate Awards 2002 which were presented by the Acting Prime Minister of Malaysia YAB Dato' Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi on 11th March, 2003. It won the KLSE Corporate Sectoral Awards 2002 for Main Board - Trading/Services.

The KLSE Corporate Awards recognise companies listed on the KLSE, which have shown exemplary corporate conduct in complying with the KLSE's Listing Requirements.

In addition, the Awards recognise public listed companies which have demonstrated high standards of corporate governance, disclosure and transparency coupled with proactive investor relations efforts. More importantly, these Awards also seek to promote international best practices by public listed companies.

The adjudication criteria for the KLSE Corporate Awards was developed by an independent Adjudication Panel comprising industry experts to ensure an objective and transparent adjudication process.
