QUOTATION OF STAR CRUISES PLC SHARES ON CLOB INTERNATIONAL, SINGAPORE

Star Cruises PLC ("Star Cruises") is pleased to announce that  the entire issued and  paid-up  share  capital  of   the Company  comprising  499,447,243 ordinary shares  of  US$0.10   each  will  be  quoted  on CLOB  International of the Stock Exchange of Singapore with effect from 9.00 a.m., Friday, 3rd April, 1998.

Upon quotation on CLOB International, the shares of the Company will be quoted in  US$  and  traded  in  board  lots   of  1,000  shares  each. All dealings in, and transactions  of,   the  shares  of  the Company  will  be  effected for   settlement through  the  computerised  book  entry   (scripless) settlement  system  of   The Central Depository (Pte) Limited ("CDP"). Shareholders of Star Cruises who have not  deposited   their  shares  into  the  CDP system are required to do so before dealings in the shares can be effected.
