As we welcome 2026, I extend my warmest greetings to all our stakeholders.

The past year was particularly special for the Genting Group, as we celebrated our Diamond Jubilee in 2025 – marking 60 years of resilience, bold decisions and enduring values, inspired by our beloved Founder, Tan Sri Lim Goh Tong. From constructing a privately funded access road to transforming a remote mountaintop into a world-class resort destination and building the world’s largest hotel during an economic crisis, Genting’s history has been shaped by courage, unity and long-term conviction.

Today, we are a global group with diversified businesses in leisure and hospitality, sustainable energy, oil palm plantations, property development and life sciences – employing over 54,000 people and contributing to economies worldwide. Our resorts create memorable experiences for millions of visitors while our businesses drive growth, innovation and nation-building.

I am pleased to inform that Genting Berhad has, for the first time, been included in three FTSE4Good indices: the FTSE4Good Bursa Malaysia Index, FTSE4Good ASEAN 5 Index and FTSE4Good Emerging Index, effective 22 December 2025.

This recognition, along with a 4-star ESG rating (the highest possible) by FTSE Russell in their December 2025 review, highlights our strong governance, proactive sustainability initiatives and commitment to integrity, accountability and long-term value creation for our stakeholders.

In line with our Diamond Jubilee theme, “Consolidate, Strengthen, Enduring,” we remain resilient, sustainable and future-ready.

Looking ahead, we are focusing on technological transformation, innovative approaches to ecotourism and oil palm planting, renewable energies and breakthroughs in life sciences. As artificial intelligence reshapes industries, our strength lies in original ideas – ideas that will propel Genting into the next 60 years and beyond.

We will continue to innovate, embrace change and strive for excellence, as we further strengthen Genting Berhad’s position as a trusted and responsible leader globally.
